NFL fantasy football: Brandon Lloyd to join the elite?

Patriot games: According to Field Yates of ESPNBoston.com, New England Patriots wideout Brandon Lloyd has “caught almost everything thrown his way, and could be a massive part of the Patriots passing game in 2012.” Lloyd is entering his eleventh season as a professional, and this will be the first time he’s had an elite quarterback aiming for him. In comparison, Randy Moss joined the Patriots in his tenth season as pro, which culminated with a career-high 23 TDs and saw his second-highest career total of 1,493 receiving yards. Though Deion Branch started his career with the Pats, it wasn’t until he rejoined them in his tenth season (2010), that he recorded a career-high 14.7 YPC and tied his season-best five TDs. What to take from this? Tom Brady rejuvenates even the most seasoned veterans. With an ADP of 58.96 in NFL.com fantasy football leagues, Lloyd carries considerable value as a sixth-round pickin drafts.
